Introduction to Jobs

In this set of classes, you'll learn how how to use Kubernetes Job objects to run short-lived batch-type workloads. You'll learn how they differ from long-running workloads (Pods) and the internal of how they work.

Running Jobs

In this set of classes, you'll learn how to write Job manifest files and deploy them to your cluster. You'll learn the different Job parameters and how they work and see them in action. You'll also learn how to list and inspect Jobs and the Pods they execute.

Failing Jobs

In this class, you'll complete several tasks that deploy jobs that fail, and you'll go through the process of working out how to fix them. As you do this, you'll learn some of the internals of how jobs are managed by Kubernetes.

Test yourself - Jobs

This is the fun part! You'll be assigned a task that you have to complete on your own. That means no completed YAML files and no kubectl commands that you can cut and paste. Enjoy!
